When I checked the place out using Google Map, I thought it was far from UM. Turns out it wasn't really that far. I knew where the National Museum is, but I never thought Lake Gardens was also somewhere there. Happy happy some more.
Parked my car at the Bird Park, but because of RM25 per entrance, we decided not to enter. We went up to the Orchid Garden, and it was nice. Well, the workers are all over the place, doing this and that, and the garden was quite small then what I expected, but it truly was nice. Flowers~ Sab and I even thought of buying little green plants to be put in our own rooms haha.
Then we walked around and went up to the Planetarium. That was after two guards showed us the way without us even asked for directions. We were beyond ecstatic when the guy at the counter ticket said it was a free entrance. We went in and immediately became little kids again. Played around. And there were the guards again. Following us everywhere we go -.- Showed us the way when we didn't even need them to. But thank you guys. That was so nice of you too. And pssst, usha Sab keeee? :p
Then we got to the car again, and went to Hibiscus Garden. Nothing much. Hibiscus everywhere, duhh. We were both fasting today, so we practically lost two quarter of our energy by then. Performed our Asr prayer at Masjid Negara and we went to see the Heroes' Mausoleum which was situated near the masjid. It was funnn :) Alhamdulillah.
Got to the car again, headed to Cheras to send Sab home. Yet I don't know how, I stumbled upon Titiwangsa, and voila! Lake Titiwangsa. It was great. So many people roller-blading. It was quite windy there. Breathtaking scenery of the lake. Subhanallah. I love it so very much.
Headed to Cheras for real this time. I have no idea where I was at, but alhamdulillah Sab recognized the road when it was near her house area. Sent her off and went back to college which was as easy as pie. I am so happy now that I am quite familiar with Kuala Lumpur :)
Today was beautiful. I just thought of going to some gardens or park yesterday, and today I did. The best part is that not a penny was spent! I'm loving nature more and more. Alhamdulillah. Thank you Allah.
